Terms and conditions
Last updated 31 May 2026. These terms apply to the weekly Tai Chi class run by We Are Tai Chi ("We Are Tai Chi", “we”, “us”), trading as Kuaile De Rizi School of Tai Chi, and to your use of this website.
About the class
We run a gentle weekly Tai Chi class on a pay-as-you-go basis, held every Thursday from 7 to 8pm at the Barnbow Social Club, Manston Lane, Leeds LS15 8ST. All ages and abilities are welcome. Sessions are led by Martin Day, a qualified Tai Chi instructor.
Booking and attendance
There is no need to book a fixed course. You are welcome to turn up on a Thursday, though we ask that new participants get in touch first so we can say hello and answer any questions. We may limit numbers where the space or the nature of the session requires it.
Payment
The class is £8 per one-hour session, paid as you go. Payment is due at or before each session you attend. We do not run direct debits or tie you into a block of sessions.
Health and participation
Tai Chi is a low-impact practice, but you take part at your own risk. If you have any injury, medical condition, or are pregnant, please speak to your GP before joining and let Martin know so the practice can be adapted where possible. You should stop and rest if anything causes pain or discomfort. You are responsible for working within your own limits.
Your conduct
We ask that everyone treats fellow participants, the instructor and the venue with courtesy. We may ask anyone to leave a session where their behaviour puts others, themselves or the venue at risk, or disrupts the class for others.
Cancellations and changes
Occasionally a session may be cancelled or rescheduled, for example because of illness or a venue clash. Where we can, we will give notice through the usual channels. As the class is pay-as-you-go, no payment is taken for a session that does not run.
Use of this website
This website is provided for general information about the class. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we give no warranty that the content is complete or error-free, and details such as times and prices may change. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your failure to follow reasonable health guidance or the instructor’s directions.
Your data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy and cookies policy. How cookies work on this site is covered in our cookie policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
